Algor Mortis
MELBOURNE CITY SLAMMERS ALGOR MORTIS BRING THEIR SICKNESS TO LAUNCESTON FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME WITH HELP FROM LOCAL GORE HEROES PULVERIZED CRANIAL MATTER, FELLOW MELBOURNE BRUTALISTS SCATTERED LIMBS, SECLUDED, AND LOCAL SAVAGES EXOTERIC TORMENT. From the guts of Melbourne’s underground, Algor Mortis spilled forth as a nasty amalgamation of brutal death metal and beatdown hardcore. With slamming riffs and guttural vocals of an inhuman level, the band quickly made a name for themselves since forming in 2020 as a visceral recovery outlet for vocalist Cecilia Keane, with her leadership determined to let nothing stand in their way. Having signed to the cult label Maggot Stomp (Undeath, 200 Stab Wounds, Fulci) for the release of their debut EP ‘Stages of Death’, and shows all across Australia with such metal and hardcore greats as Cavalera Conspiracy, The Acacia Strain, Sanguisugabogg, Bleeding Through, Day of Contempt, Rotting Christ, Psycroptic and more, rest assured that in the case of Algor Mortis, death is only the beginning.
