Goodnight Sweet Prince
Confucius said: Before you embark upon a journey of revenge, dig two graves.
A room that once held art is in ruins. Inside it, a boy is being watched, tested, pushed toward something he doesn’t fully understand. He trusts no one. Not even himself.
Goodnight Sweet Prince distills Shakespeare’s Hamlet into an intense reflection. A mind caught in cycles of memory, remorse, and brutality, hovering at the brink of breaking point.
Each night actors Raj Labade (The Talented Mr Ripley, My Brilliant Career, King Lear) and Jack Twelvetree (Blackout Songs, Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again) swap parts - Hamlet, Horatio, the rest - identity fractures, reforms, repeats through each unique performance.
This is not a faithful retelling. It’s time distorted. A study of inherited violence. A sense of being watched, and the quiet damage done when revenge is dressed up as honour.
