READING: The Little Red Book by Victor Y Z Xu

Everything Everywhere All At Once’ in Sydney, Australia.

The Little Red Book’ is Victor Y Z Xu's ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ in Sydney, Australia. Think ‘Cursed!’ by Kodie Bedford, ‘Back to the Future’, Wong Kar Wai and the film ‘About Time’ all in a blender. This play reflects Victor's experience and voice. It’s not an Asian story, or a Chinese story, nor is it an Australian one either. It is simply just, a play that has people of Asian descent, simply existing, experiencing obstacles, and growing. Why? Maybe youthful rebellion? Maybe spite? Either way, the first prime minister of Singapore, Mr. Lee Kuan Yew is in the play!
