Workshop | Painting with Light Under Outback Skies – Cinematic Photography for Everyone

This practical, accessible workshop is for anyone who wants to take more powerful photographs – whether you’re using a phone, a DSLR or a mirrorless camera.

Drawing on three decades as an international cinematographer, I’ll walk participants through how to see light, compose with intention, and photograph real people and places with respect and emotion.

We’ll mix an easy classroom session with time outside, working with the actual Outback light and landscape . You’ll leave with a simple repeatable process you can use for portraits, landscapes and event photography – plus a fresh sense of what your camera (or phone) can really do. Bring a campchair as Philip will also be sharing post workshop some of his cinematograpghy on a big outdoor screen. For ages 13 years and over
