Think about how many times you pick up an edged tool (knife, axe, hatchet, scissors, multitool, etc...) every day, whether at home in the kitchen, garden, shed, farming, etc..., or, at work with nearly every job requiring a knife or similar at some point during the day, plus, there's the weekend hobbies and interests that see them used all the time, or carried as safety items, like bushwalking, BBQ's, 4wding, cooking, hunting, camping, touring, and so many more. This is one of the world's oldest tools along with the hammer, bought from the stone age into modern times using modern materials, by the men and women who devote their life to the art of making the best possible heirloom quality functional tool they can.
There will be a massive number of world renowned American Bladesmith Society (ABS) bladesmiths at the show, the Master Smith (MS) test, when passed, being the absolute pinnacle of achievement for bladesmiths the world over. There will be 2 Master Smiths, 4 Journeyman Smiths, and over 10 ABS Apprentices exhibiting at the expo with their WORLD CLASS handmade products.
