CAR ENTRANTS’ TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Definitions and Interpretation
1.1 In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires:
- CCC means Central Coast Council.
- ChromeFest or Event means ChromeFest 2026 conducted by CCC.
- Entrant means the person who purchases a car entry ticket and registers a vehicle for
- participation in the Event.
- Event Precinct means all areas designated by CCC as part of ChromeFest.
- Show ’N’ Shine means the vehicle display component of ChromeFest.
- Terms or Terms and Conditions means the terms and conditions set out in this
- document.
1.2 By purchasing a car entry ticket and participating in the Event, the Entrant agrees to be
bound by these Terms.
2. Purchase of Car Entry Ticket
2.1 Car entry tickets must be purchased exclusively via the Event’s authorised ticketing
platform, I Wanna Ticket. Tickets purchased through any other means will not be accepted.
2.2 Full payment of the car entry fee is required at the time of registration.
2.3 The Entrant is solely responsible for all costs and expenses incurred in connection with
participation in ChromeFest.
2.4 Car entry fees are nonrefundable except as expressly provided for in these Terms.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
3.1 Car entry tickets are nonrefundable. If an Entrant is unable to attend the Event due to
unforeseen circumstances, CCC must be notified as soon as practicable via email
chromefest@centralcoast.nsw.gov.au. Requests will be considered at CCC’s discretion.
3.2 Tickets must not be sold or transferred privately. CCC will not recognise any transfer not
undertaken in accordance with these Terms.
3.3 If CCC cancels ChromeFest 2026, or any part of the Event, due to circumstances beyond
its reasonable control (including but not limited to inclement weather, natural disasters,
government action, labour shortages, public health orders or emergencies), CCC may, at its
discretion, provide a full or partial refund of the Show ’N’ Shine entry fee (excluding booking
fees).
3.4 No refund will be issued where an Entrant has breached these Terms or elects not to
attend.
4. Ticket Transfers
4.1 Any request to transfer a car entry ticket must be made via the authorised ticketing
platform and in accordance with the platform’s terms and conditions and any directions
issued by CCC.
4.2 CCC may approve or refuse a transfer request in its absolute discretion.
4.3 Approved transfers may incur additional booking fees.
4.4 CCC will refuse entry where a ticket has not been transferred in accordance with this
clause.
5. Car Entrant Information Pack
5.1 A Car Entrant Information Pack will be issued electronically approximately one (1) month
prior to the Event and will include operational details such as bumpin and bumpout
procedures, maps and contact information.
5.2 Entrants must familiarise themselves with and comply with all requirements contained in
the Information Pack and any associated documents.
6. Vehicle Eligibility – Show ’N’ Shine - (Permit No. T26/19).
6.1 As part of the car entry fee, Entrants are automatically entered into the Show ’N’ Shine
held on the Sunday of the Event.
6.2 Eligible vehicles include:
- American vehicles manufactured pre1979 (excluding vehicles currently available for
- purchase through Australian dealerships).
- Hot Rods constructed in accordance with ASRF standards.
- Holden, Ford Falcon and Valiant vehicles manufactured pre1979.
- Rebodied vehicles using a post1949 chassis with a pre1949 body.
- Commercial vehicles meeting the above criteria; and
- Any vehicle manufactured pre1979 with current registration.
6.3 CCC reserves the right to refuse entry to any vehicle that does not meet eligibility
requirements. No refund will be provided.
6.4 Vehicles displaying offensive language, symbols or imagery will be refused entry without
refund.
7. Event Operations and Vehicle Movement
7.1 Entrants must comply with all bumpin and bumpout procedures, including maintaining a
maximum speed of 8km/h and using hazard lights where practicable.
7.2 Once parked, vehicles must not be moved until directed by CCC staff at the conclusion
of each event day.
7.3 Vehicles may be left onsite overnight at the Entrant’s own risk. CCC accepts no
responsibility for loss, theft or damage.
7.4 Vehicle entry times are strictly limited to:
- Friday 23 October: 10:00am – 4:00pm
- Saturday 24 October and Sunday 25 October: 7:00am – 9:00am
8. Driver and Replacement Vehicle Provisions
8.1 All drivers must hold a valid licence appropriate to the vehicle being operated.
8.2 If the registered Entrant is unable to attend, an alternative driver may be nominated
subject to CCC receiving updated driver details prior to arrival.
8.3 Replacement vehicles may only be permitted where the originally approved vehicle
becomes unavailable and must meet all eligibility criteria. CCC must be notified in advance.
9. Conduct and Behaviour
9.1 Entrants must not engage in conduct that is threatening, abusive, discriminatory,
unlawful, unsafe or otherwise detrimental to the Event.
9.2 Smoking is prohibited within the Event Precinct.
9.3 Burnouts, excessive revving or dangerous driving behaviour will result in removal from
the Event, reporting to Police, and a permanent ban from future ChromeFest events.
10. Health and Safety
10.1 Entrants must take reasonable care for their own safety and the safety of others.
10.2 Electrical equipment may only be used if tested, tagged and approved by CCC.
10.3 All incidents must be reported immediately to Event Officers Donna Judge 0439 248 403

10.4 CCC or emergency services may move or remove a vehicle for safety or operational
reasons if the owner cannot be contacted.
11. Insurance Requirements
11.1 Entrants must maintain:
- Comprehensive motor vehicle insurance.
- Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance.
- Current vehicle registration or permit; and
11.2 Entrants must notify CCC of any incident likely to give rise to an insurance claim.
12. Liability and Indemnity
12.1 Vehicles are exhibited at the Entrant’s own risk.
12.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Entrant releases and indemnifies CCC against
all claims arising from participation in the Event.
12.3 Entrants are responsible for any damage that they or their driver causes to Council
assets or infrastructure.
13. Privacy
13.1 Personal information collected will be handled in accordance with CCC’s Privacy
Management Plan and applicable legislation.
14. Termination
14.1 CCC may cancel an Entrant’s participation where these Terms are breached by the
Entrant or their driver.
14.2 CCC is not liable for any loss arising from cancellation or termination under this clause
15. General
15.1 If any part of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, then that part will be
severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
