Hunter Rugby Luncheon – Terms & Conditions of Ticket Purchase
(The Arena, Wests)
1. General
By purchasing a ticket to the Hunter Rugby Luncheon (“the Event”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions and any directions issued by Hunter Rugby Union Inc. (“the Organiser”) and The Wests Group Australia, including venue policies applicable at The Arena.
2. Venue & Entry
The Event will be held at The Arena, operated by The Wests Group Australia.
All attendees must comply with venue conditions of entry.
Entry may be refused or revoked by the Organiser or venue management for non-compliance with these Terms or venue policies.
The venue operates under applicable licensing, safety, and capacity regulations.
3. Ticket Purchase & Validity
Tickets must be purchased through authorised channels only.
Tickets are valid only for the specified Event date and time.
Proof of purchase may be required upon entry.
Tickets may not be resold for commercial gain without prior written approval from the Organiser.
4. Refunds & Cancellations
Tickets are non-refundable except as required under Australian Consumer Law.
If the Event is cancelled, ticket holders will be offered a refund or transfer.
If postponed, tickets will remain valid for the new date.
No refunds will be issued for non-attendance.
5. Event Changes
The Organiser reserves the right to change the program, speakers, schedule, or format of the Event.
Such changes do not constitute grounds for a refund.
6. Seating & Tables
Seating may be allocated or unallocated depending on ticket type.
Corporate tables may be reserved where applicable.
While efforts will be made to accommodate seating requests, these cannot be guaranteed.
7. Catering & Dietary Requirements
The Event includes catering provided by the venue.
Dietary requirements must be advised at the time of booking or by the nominated deadline.
While the venue will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests, this cannot be guaranteed.
8. Alcohol & Responsible Service
Alcohol will be available at the Event and will be served in accordance with NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) laws.
The Wests Group Australia reserves the right to refuse service to any patron in accordance with these laws.
Intoxicated or disorderly patrons may be refused entry or removed from the Event without refund.
9. Code of Conduct
Attendees must behave in a respectful and appropriate manner at all times.
Any person acting in a disruptive, offensive, or unsafe manner may be removed from the Event by the Organiser or venue security without refund.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Hunter Rugby Union Inc. and The Wests Group Australia are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by attendees at the Event.
Attendees enter and participate at their own risk.
11. Photography & Media
By attending, you consent to photography, audio, and video recording.
Content may be used by Hunter Rugby Union Inc. for promotional purposes without compensation.
12. Force Majeure
The Organiser will not be liable for any delay, cancellation, or alteration to the Event due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to extreme weather, government restrictions, or emergencies.
13. Parking & Access
Parking and access to The Arena are subject to venue availability and conditions.
Attendees are responsible for their own transport and parking arrangements.
