Event & Match Attendance – General Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to attendance at matches, functions and events hosted by Manly Rugby Football Club (MRFC), including events with paid tickets and free entry.

By purchasing a ticket or attending a Manly Rugby event, you agree to comply with these terms.

1. Entry to Events

- Entry to Manly Rugby matches and events may be:Ticketed, where a ticket must be purchased or presented for entry, or

- Free entry, where no ticket purchase is required.

Even where entry is free, all attendees must comply with these Terms and Conditions and venue rules.

Manly Rugby reserves the right to limit attendance where venue capacity or safety requirements apply.

2. Ticket Purchase (Where Applicable)

Where tickets are required, they may be purchased through authorised Manly Rugby ticketing platforms or approved third-party providers.

The purchaser is responsible for ensuring the contact details provided are correct for ticket delivery.

3. Refunds and Exchanges

Tickets are generally non-refundable except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

Refunds or exchanges may be offered if:

- An event is cancelled

- An event is rescheduled and the ticket holder cannot attend the new date

If an event is postponed, tickets will normally remain valid for the rescheduled date unless otherwise advised.

Free entry events do not provide entitlement to refunds or compensation.

4. Event Changes

Manly Rugby reserves the right to make changes to events where reasonably necessary, including:

- Match times

- Event schedules

- Venues

- Entertainment or programming

Where possible, updates will be communicated through the club’s website, social media or email.

5. Entry Conditions

Entry to Manly Rugby events is subject to venue rules and club policies.

Manly Rugby reserves the right to:

- Refuse entry to any person behaving in a disruptive, unsafe or intoxicated manner

- Remove any person who breaches venue rules or engages in unacceptable conduct

No refunds will be provided where entry is refused or a patron is removed due to a breach of conditions.

6. Responsible Service of Alcohol

Where alcohol is served, Manly Rugby and venue staff operate under Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) laws.

The club reserves the right to:

- Refuse alcohol service to intoxicated persons

- Remove patrons who behave in a disorderly or unsafe manner

- Valid identification may be required where alcohol is served.

7. Corporate Hospitality and Group Bookings

For corporate hospitality packages, tables or group bookings:

- The person making the booking is responsible for distributing tickets or event information to guests.

- Dietary requests must be submitted prior to the event where catering is provided.

- Seating arrangements may be adjusted where required for operational reasons.

Unless otherwise stated, corporate bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.

8. Photography and Media

Photography and video may be taken at Manly Rugby matches and events.

By attending, patrons acknowledge that images or footage may be used by Manly Rugby for promotional purposes including:

- Club website

- Social media

- Marketing materials

- Newsletters and publications

If you do not wish to appear in media content, please notify club staff.

9. Weather

Matches and events may proceed in wet weather unless conditions are deemed unsafe.Refunds will generally not be provided due to weather unless a ticketed event is cancelled.

10. Children

Children attending events remain the responsibility of their parent or guardian at all times.Some events may require children to hold their own ticket depending on venue capacity or licensing requirements.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Manly Rugby Football Club is not responsible for:Loss or damage to personal propertyPersonal injury suffered at events except where caused by negligence of the clubAll patrons attend events at their own risk.

12. Force Majeure

Manly Rugby will not be liable for any delay, cancellation or change to an event caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:Extreme weatherGovernment restrictionsPublic health ordersVenue issuesOther unforeseen events

13. Privacy

Personal information collected during ticket purchases or event registrations is handled in accordance with the Manly Rugby Privacy Policy available on the club website.
