The day is going to be a great one which seeks to encourage, build and equip you for effective ministry to young people. On the day we will have a Key focus on Mission to young people, as we seek to reach the lost ones in the region. There will also be training electives to choose from catering for both youth and children’s ministry leaders, as well as anyone who is interested in seeing young people grow in their faith in Jesus.

This year we are also trialling a new idea—the Ministry Forum, which will operate like a question & response time but with more interaction and contribution from everyone.

Shire - Youth & Kids Leader Training Day

Thanks so much for registering for the Illawarra Kid’s & Youth Leaders TrainingEvent! 

The training will be held at a new time and location, aiming to make it accessible for more volunteers from across the region. We will be holding the event at 

 on a Friday night, during the school holidays – a time when many youth groups hold their termly training. There is parking on site, as well as street parking in the surrounding area 

The event is going to be a great one which seeks to encourage, build and equip you for effective ministry to young people. On the day we will have a Key focus on Mission to young people, as we seek to reach the lost ones in the region. There will also be training electives to choose from catering for both youth and children’s ministry leaders, as well as anyone who is interested in seeing young people grow in their faith in Jesus.

This year we are also trialing a new idea—the Ministry Forum, which will operate like a question & response time but with more interaction and contribution from everyone.

Illawarra - Youth & Kids Leader Training Day

Conference starts at 10:00am on 25 August 2026. Check-in is from 9:30am.

Conference papers will be sent about 3-4 weeks before conference. 

The papers are a central part of conference and you need to spend time reading and thinking before conference to get the most benefit from your time at HOUSE. Every year we have people say to us afterwards that they wish they read the papers before they came... don't have regret, set time aside to read and think about the papers.

But we know it can sometimes be hard to get to it, so we are releasing an increasing amount of resource to help you through the Effective Ministry Podcast. From a theme taster and general intro, exploration of the beliefs to practice framework we use, to readings of the papers when they drop and then a group discussion of the papers shortly after that, and a post conference Q & A episode.

You can log into the members' area at anytime and review your profile.
